Which app this covers. These Community Rules apply to everyone who uses the Ask Lucilla app (com.lucilla.rewards) or Lucilla's text-message service — customers, group members, event hosts, businesses and their staff. They form part of the Ask Lucilla Terms of Service. The Lucilla fitness app's conduct rules are in its Terms of Service, Section 7.
1. Everyone
You may NOT:
- Post hate speech, slurs, or content targeting protected groups
- Post threats of violence, harassment, bullying, or doxxing
- Share sexual content, nudity, or anything sexualizing minors (zero tolerance)
- Post content promoting self-harm or suicide
- Spread misinformation that causes real-world harm (e.g. fake USDC giveaways, impersonation)
- Run scams, pyramid schemes, or request seed phrases / private keys
- Engage in illegal activity, incite violence, or promote terrorism
- Spam, use bot activity, impersonate, or astroturf
- Share content that infringes third-party copyright or trademark
- Reverse engineer, hack, or exploit the Service
Lucilla maintains a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. Content that is unlawful, harassing, abusive, threatening, harmful, hateful, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, violent, bullying, discriminatory, or otherwise offensive is prohibited regardless of context.
2. Talking to the assistant and texting Lucilla
- Text only from a phone number you own or are authorized to use
- Do not send automated or bulk messages, or try to extract data or listings from the assistant at scale
- Do not use the assistant to harass a business or another person, including through questions or messages it forwards for you
- Do not send images, audio or video you do not have the right to share, or that depict other people without their consent
- The assistant is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call your local emergency number
3. Groups, matching and meeting people
- Adults only for in-person matching. You must be 18 or older to be matched with other people to meet in person. Do not misrepresent your age
- Be who you say you are. Use your own name and photo on your matching profile. No fake profiles, catfishing or impersonation
- Respect "no". A match needs both people to agree. Do not pressure, follow up after someone declines, or create new accounts to reach someone who blocked you
- Keep it to what the group is for. Do not use groups, gigs or activity matches for commercial solicitation, dating when the group is not for dating, or recruiting into schemes
- No attempts to unmask people. Phone numbers are hidden in text threads and groups on purpose. Do not try to obtain another person's number, address or identity against their wishes, and do not share another person's private information
- Safety. Lucilla does not background-check users. Meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and leave if you feel unsafe
- Hosts must describe their events honestly, respect the minimum age they set, keep a private venue's address to people who joined, and treat join requests and screening answers as confidential
- Reply BLOCK in a text thread to report it and end it. Report anything else to social@lucilla.ca
4. Reviews, polls and proof
- Reviews must reflect your own, genuine experience with the business. No fake reviews, reviews of places you did not visit, or reviews written for or by the business itself
- A business may ask you for an honest review, but may not require, reward or pressure you to give a particular rating or say something positive. Report any business that does
- Do not post reviews that contain hate speech, personal attacks on named staff, or private information
- Photo and video proof you upload for a reward must be your own, taken for that reward, and must not show other people without their consent
- Answer polls and surveys honestly; do not use multiple accounts to answer more than once
5. Claiming rewards fairly
- One person, one account. No multiple accounts, shared accounts or claiming on someone else's behalf
- No GPS spoofing, simulated locations, VPNs used to fake location, emulators or modified apps
- Do not photograph, copy or share a business's QR codes or redemption codes so others can claim without visiting
- Do not resell rewards, codes or tickets unless the Provider allows it
- Staff and team members may not claim their own business's rewards
6. Businesses: listings, posts and customer messages
- Listings, menus, prices, hours and photos must be accurate and yours to use. Keep them up to date
- Posts, reward cards and store chat messages must follow Section 1 and applicable advertising law. No misleading claims, bait-and-switch offers or fake scarcity
- Message only customers who claimed your rewards and have not unsubscribed from your business; stop immediately when they unsubscribe, and never try to re-subscribe someone who left
- Do not ask customers for their phone number, email or payment details through Lucilla threads to get around Lucilla's privacy protections
- Respond to customer questions forwarded by Lucilla respectfully, and do not try to identify the person who asked
- You may ask customers for an honest review. Do not require, reward or incentivize a particular rating or positive content, gate rewards on star ratings, or offer anything in exchange for changing or removing a review
- You are responsible for your staff's conduct on Lucilla, including code redemptions and ticket check-ins
7. Prohibited rewards and campaigns
Businesses, creators and event hosts may NOT publish rewards, offers or events that:
- are misleading, or that the Provider does not intend or is not able to honor
- involve adult content, illegal products or services, or scams
- offer age-restricted products or entry (such as alcohol or 18+/21+ events) without the Provider verifying age at the point of service as the law requires
- require a purchase, deposit or membership fee to claim a randomized reward (Mystery Rewards and randomized cashback must remain free to enter)
- ask users to break the law, trespass, endanger themselves or others, or spoof their location
- require, reward or incentivize a particular review rating or sentiment (asking for an honest review is allowed)
- pay users to harass, review-bomb or report a competitor
- require users to hand over personal information unrelated to the reward
- violate sweepstakes, promotion, consumer-protection or endorsement laws where the reward is offered, or any required registration for a high-value randomized reward
- impersonate another business or use its trademarks without permission
Lucilla may hide, remove or deactivate any reward, campaign or listing that breaks these rules. Deactivating a funded USDC campaign returns its unclaimed funds as described in the Ask Lucilla Terms, Section 7.4.
8. Enforcement
- We review reports and act on them, and aim to remove objectionable content promptly
- Depending on severity we may remove content, reject or cancel claims, hide listings, deactivate campaigns, restrict features, or suspend or permanently terminate accounts — without prior notice
- We may report illegal activity to the authorities
- Appeals may be sent to social@lucilla.ca
