We're sorry to see you go. Submitting this form will permanently delete your Lucilla account and all associated data after a 30-day grace period.
Before you delete — transfer your funds out
Your Lucilla wallet holds USDC on the Base blockchain. Once your account is deleted, you will permanently lose access to the wallet and any funds remaining in it.
Before submitting this request:
- Open the Lucilla app → Profile → Wallet
- Withdraw all USDC to an external address (Coinbase, Metamask, bank via Coinbase off-ramp)
- Confirm the withdrawal succeeded on-chain before proceeding
- If you have active challenges or pending reward claims, wait for them to settle
Lucilla cannot recover funds from deleted wallets. This is irreversible.
Legal retention notice
Lucilla is a registered money-services business under Canadian FINTRAC law. That means we're legally required to keep certain records for 5 years after you delete your account:
- Your wallet address(es)
- Your transaction history (USDC rewards earned, wagers, escrow payouts)
- Your name, email, phone number, and date of birth (linked to the above so regulators can match records to people)
- Reward claims and match wagering records
These records are moved into a locked retention vault on the day you delete your account. They're invisible to everyone except compliance auditors. After 5 years they're permanently purged.
All other personal data is deleted immediately: profile, social posts, chats, journal entries, step data, profile photos, push tokens. You cannot log in anymore starting day 1.
This retention is required by the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act. Similar laws exist in the US (FinCEN/BSA). GDPR and CCPA both explicitly permit retention for legal-obligation compliance.
What gets deleted
Deleted immediately
- • Profile (avatar, bio, display name, profile photos)
- • Social posts, comments, and chat messages
- • Journal entries and personal notes
- • Step history and wearable sync data
- • Push notification tokens and device identifiers
- • Login access (you cannot sign in starting day 1)
- • Follower/following and subscription relationships
Retained 5 years (FINTRAC MSB law)
- • Wallet address(es)
- • USDC transaction history (rewards earned, wagers, escrow payouts)
- • Name, email, phone number, and date of birth (linked to transactions)
- • Reward claim records and match wagering records
Moved to a locked compliance vault — invisible to everyone except auditors. Permanently purged after 5 years.
Retained permanently (not personally identifying)
- • Anonymized transaction hashes on the Base blockchain (public, immutable, no PII)
- • Aggregated, non-identifying analytics
